when a pelican bites you there’s no malice in their eyes. they aren’t upset at you. they are just hungry and want to see if you fit in their mouths. and if you don’t then it’s no problem and everything is fine. and if you do then well i guess your fate is sealed but that’s ok it’s a beautiful animal

But I didn’t know that they really are That Dense, All The Time. The same way sharks will bite anything that might be a seal, just in case, these birdbrains will apparently test just about anything for beak size.
It’s amazing that we all have access to slow motion video in our pockets.
30+ years ago you had to rent a special film camera that spun so fast and made so much noise you worried it might fly apart and explode. And, depending on the FPS, it could go through the entire reel of film in just a few seconds so if your timing was off you just wasted a few hundred bucks. Not to mention you had to blast the scene with tons of light. No LEDs either, so it would be like 100+ degrees on set.
Sure, technology will eventually kill us all, but at least we got to see this cute pup with his floppy ears without needing a $20000 budget.

The Trevor Project’s support of LGBTQ young people has always meant so much to me. I hope you’ll join me in supporting Trevor’s mission in two ways:
